August sail...

on saturday, 8/16, liz and i are going for a week long sail around the chesapeake bay. dear luff daddy, pls don't let us down now...

if you don't hear from us after a few days, call the coast guard.

agenda:

we plan on sailing north underneath the bay bridge to the magothy river. note that this is the same bridge that an 18 wheeler just crashed through the railing into the water -- a forty foot drop.

a friend who lives on the magothy is hopefully going to take us wake boarding.

then we'll sail across the bay to the chester river, up to chestertown.

followed by a sail to st. michaels. last time we sailed to st. michaels we ran aground in front of dick cheney's house. hopefully this time we'll run aground in front of rumsfeld's house...

then up the choptank river, across the bay, back to our home dock at blue water marina in edgewater, md aka 'mayo'.
