Memorial Day weekend pictures, part 2


On Sunday midday, we dropped off the Myers crew and picked up Micronaut and Burcu.

But they soon hit the sauce...

and proved to be worthless...

But in the end, they scored big with us cuz they fed us dinner and breakfast.







Memorial Day weekend pictures, part 1

On Saturday, Liz and I sailed up the Bay to the Severn River. In all, it was about a 40 mile sail.


Lashed to the deck is my kayak that just happens to look like a ches bay shark.

Up the Severn River, we picked up the Myers family.



On Sunday morning, we sailed with Andy, Dayna and Lil' Legend Asha. We went up the Severn to Round Bay.

sailing course - memorial day wknd, 5/27-5/30 2006



Above is the course for this weekend's sail.

Itinerary:

Saturday

Leave Blue Water Marina Saturday a.m.

Sail down the Rhode River, up the West River to the Bay.

Cross Thomas Point Lighthouse head for Annapolis then up the Severn River to the inlet Pines on Severn.

Spend the night, hopefully on a stolen mouring.

20 miles


Sunday

Pick up the Myers crew in the morning. Sail on the Severn to Round Bay with Andy, Dayna, and Asha.

In the afternoon, drop off the Myers and pick up Micronaut and Burcu.

Spend the night on the Severn on Clement's Creek.

Monday

Sail down the Severn past Annapolis, back down the Bay to Blue Water.
